Refund Policy

1. Subscription Purchases

Scotty Pro subscriptions ($7.99/month) can be purchased through:

  • Website: Processed by Stripe
  • iOS: Processed by Apple App Store
  • Android: Processed by Google Play Store

Refund procedures vary depending on where you made your purchase.

2. Website Purchases (Stripe)

For subscriptions purchased through our website:

  • Contact us at support@rwxtek.com within 7 days of purchase
  • Include your email address and Scotty Code
  • Explain the reason for your refund request
  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

We offer a full refund within the first 7 days if you're not satisfied.

3. iOS Purchases (Apple App Store)

For subscriptions purchased through the App Store:

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find your Scotty/OVRTK subscription purchase
  4. Select "Request a refund" and choose a reason
  5. Submit your request

4. Android Purchases (Google Play)

For subscriptions purchased through Google Play:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap Menu → Subscriptions
  3. Select OVRTK/Scotty
  4. Tap "Request a refund" or contact Google Play support

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted for:

  • Accidental purchases
  • Technical issues that prevent you from using the service
  • Service not working as described
  • Requests within the first 7 days (website purchases)

Refunds are generally not granted for:

  • Change of mind after the 7-day period
  • Failure to cancel before renewal
  • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Partial month usage

6. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, you can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the trial period ends through your account settings or the respective app store.

7. How to Cancel Your Subscription

Website Purchases:

Email support@rwxtek.com with your Scotty Code to cancel.

iOS:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Select OVRTK/Scotty
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Tap Menu → Subscriptions
  3. Select OVRTK/Scotty
  4. Tap "Cancel subscription"

Note: Canceling your subscription will allow you to use Scotty Pro until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

8. No Partial Refunds

Scotty Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. We do not offer pro-rated or partial refunds for unused portions of a subscription period. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access until the end of your billing cycle.

9. Scotty Codes After Cancellation

Your Scotty Code will continue to work until your subscription period ends. After that, your code will no longer unlock Pro features, but you can still use the free tier.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Scotty after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
